Lance Bass was once married, the pop star revealed to E! News on Thursday.
The openly gay ex-’N Syncer turned author — his memoir Out of Sync is in bookstores now — tells the entertainment news program that he pulled a Britney and tied the knot with a former girlfriend in “1999 or 2000.”
“People do stupid things in the heat of the moment,” Lance said. “I’ve been in Vegas where I’ve gotten married for like 5 minutes, but no one talks about it though.”
The 28-year-old says he and his five-minute bride exchanged vows in hopes of some complimentary drinks. Alas, no one toasted the newlyweds.
“In fact the only reason we did it is because we wanted to get free drinks all night…and we didn’t get one,” he said. “We’re like, ‘We just got married,’ and they’re like, ‘Ah, whatever.’”
Refusing to divulge more details, Lance would only go on to say that he and his ex-wife are still close. “Oh yeah, we’re friends. It’s great.”

Buxom actress Scarlett Johansson gave Josh Hartnett glandular fever aka ‘the kissing disease‘ while he was filming 30 Days Of Night. Josh, 29, who dated Scarlett, 22, for a year, said he struggled to film scenes in the vampire film after contracting the fever:
“I was falling apart because I had glandular fever, otherwise known as the kissing disease. You’re supposed to have it at 14, so apparently I haven’t kissed enough people.“

In a November 1 interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Jann Carl, Tom Cruise said of his marriage to Katie Holmes: “I feel lucky. I have a lot of respect for her as an artist, as a woman.”
He added: “She’s a very strong, gracious woman. She’s very funny, a great comedian.”
Married life, he continued, is “all very good, all very lovely.”
He referred to Holmes as “Kate” throughout the interview.
As for raising daughter Suri, 18 months, he said he and Holmes share parenting duties “just like everybody else, you just work it out. You make it work. We’ve gotten pretty good at organizing everything.” Laughing, he added, “I don’t sleep much anyway.”
The interview was held in Paris, and Cruise said the city “has great significance to me in this time period of my life. It’s the city where I proposed to Kate.”
