Fashion conscious David Beckham looks a dog’s dinner for friend Gordon Ramsay’s Los Angeles restaurant launch.

If Gordon was ever short of waiting staff then he need to look no further than his good friends.

Maybe that’s what David Beckham thought was required of him when he turned up to the opening of Ramsay’s new restaurant at the The London West Hollywood last night.

Looking remarkably like a waiter in a crisp white shirt, waistcoat and dickie bow, Becks turned out to support his celebrity chef pal while avoiding the female diners who were no doubt queuing up to give him their orders.

Beckham came out to support pal Ramsay at the opening of Gordon Ramsay at the London, West Hollywood hotel last night, as did Simon Cowell’s girlfriend Terri Seymour.

This is the first restaurant in Los Angeles for the fiery 41-year-old chef.

It is located in the former Bel-Age hotel on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, the hotel has recently been renovated and re-named the London West Hollywood.

The winner of his US reality TV show, Hell’s Kitchen, was promised the title of senior sous chef at London West Hollywood, plus £125,000 cash.

The final episode of the season airs next month.

Bridget Moynahan recently opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about her breakup with her ex-lover Tom Brady.

“Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me,” says Moynahan. “When you’re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you’re in your 30s, it’s a hard conversation. I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. Brad Pitt Spends $50K on Art the Day Before Angelina Jolie’s B-Day

A day before Angelina Jolie’s 33rd birthday, Brad Pitt dropped more than $50,000 on art in Switzerland.

On Tuesday, Pitt was chauffeured in a BMW to Switzerland’s Art Basel fair, where he spent more than two hours snapping up goodies.

He bought two bronze chairs designed by Max Lamb (at $25,000 a pop!), a fair attendee tells Usmagazine.com.

He also scored a foam and fiberglass “Family Lamp” (see left) and reportedly a $293,000 table.

“He’s really interested in architecture and design,” the onlooker says of Pitt (who posed in photos with Ambra Medda, the director of Design Miami/Basel).

Jolie said Pitt’s passion for arts and architecture first attracted her to him.

“I don’t see him as an actor,” she recently told Vanity Fair. “I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies.”

Former President Bill Clinton and Gina Gershon are slamming a new Vanity Fair article that implies they had an affair.

In a story titled “The Comeback Id,” National editor Todd Purdum — who is wed to former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers — writes that Clinton’s personality has changed since his 2004 heart bypass surgery and that there were reports of President Clinton “seeing a lot of women on the road.”

He writes that, according to “recent high-end Hollywood dinner-party gossip … Clinton has been seen visiting with the actress Gina Gershon in California.”

Gershon’s rep tells Usmagazine.com: “Todd Purdum’s insinuation is a lie, and it is irresponsible journalism. We are demanding a retraction.”

(Vanity Fair has not responded to Us’ requests for comment.)

President Clinton also denied the claims, calling Purdum “sleazy” and a “scumbag.” (”He’s one of the guys that propagated all those lies about Whitewater for Kenneth Starr” Clinton said. “He’s just a dishonest guy — can’t help it.”)

He also told the Huffington Post that the article is an attempt to discredit his wife Hillary Clinton.

(A rep for Hillary’s campaign has since apologized, saying that President Clinton used “inappropriate” language.)

Purdum defended himself on CNN, saying he was “very careful to say there is no clear-cut evidence that President Clinton has done anything improper.”

“I reject the notion that I’m making an insinuation,” he added. “But I’m very comfortable quoting the people I quote because I know who they are, and I know that they are very senior people who have known President Clinton for a very long time and work for him at very high levels.”

Former Mr. Star Jones’ half-naked photo isn’t an underwear ad. So what the heck is it?



Someone should really give Al Reynolds a hand. Because it seems that both of his are occupied.



This revealing photo of Star Jones’ estranged ex-husband has been making the rounds on the Internet. Fashion Websites had initially reported the shot was for an Under Armour underwear ad featuring “the company’s first non-sports star to endorse a 30-piece line for summer 2008.”



That’s apparently not the case, according to the New York Post. “Al Reynolds is not a spokesperson for Under Armour, nor is there any business relationship of any kind between the Under Armour brand and Al Reynolds,” Tai Foster, a rep for the company, emphatically declared.



Seriously, Al, WTF? The rubbing-your-own-shoulder thing, that’s kind of understandable. Four years with Star would make anybody tense.



But what are you doing with the other hand? Checking for lumps? Adjusting a frontal wedgie? Crabs…is it crabs?



Reynolds’ rep, Howard Bragman, would only say, “Don’t try to make a shirtless picture something it’s not—that’s my comment.”



Fine, then someone should really explain what it is.



As long as you’re pitching a tell-all interview, Al, you might as well add the mystery of this post to your list of revelations.



Because the way things are looking, if this isn’t an underwear ad, the only logical explanation is it’s an ad for another career move—as a Craigslist “escort.”
